OXYTOCIN

COMPOSITION: Each 100 ml contains
Oxytocin  
INDICATION
- To support delivery in case of primary and secondary depression of contracts and to accelerate the expulsive phase of delivery. 

- To stimulate involution in case of placenta retention and exometra and remove the pathological contents of uterus, 
DOSAGE: IM, SC administration
Mares, cows: 4-5 ml per animal
Ewes, goats: 1 -3 ml per animal
Sows: 2-4 ml per animal
Bitch: 0.5-1 ml per animal
Cats: 0.3-0.5 ml per animal

If necessary repeat after 2 - 3 hours. 

Withdrawal time: 

- For meat: 1 day. 

- For milk: 1 day. 

Contra-indications: 

- Unopened cervix. Wrong position of foetus or uterus. 

- Obstructive dystocia. Hypersensitivity to oxytocin.
