SPECIAL TREATMENT VARIETY OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES

COMPOSITION: 1 g contains:

Sulfadimidine sodium................................................ 200 mg

Trimethoprim............................................................. 40 mg

INDICATION:

TRIMIDINE has act synergistic against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like E.coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. Treatment of gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections in livestock, poultry caused by organisms sensitive to the combination of sulfadimidine and trimethoprim.

DOSAGE:

Dilute into water or mix into feed.

*Treatment: For 4 – 7 days.

- Poultry: 100 – 150 g/ 100 liters of drinking water or 1 g/ 5 – 7 kgs B.W/ day.

- Livestock: 1 g/ 1 – 1.5 liters of drinking water or 1 g/ 7 – 10 kgs B.W/ day.

Diluted medicine should be given within 6 – 12 hours.

*Prevention: ½ treatment dose.

Withdrawal time:

Animals may only be slaughtered for meat 7 days after the last treatment.

The milk can be used for human consumption after 3 days.

Poultry may only be slaughtered for meat 2 days after the last treatment.

Contra-indications:

- Hypersensitivity to sulfadimidine and trimethoprim.

- Do not use in animals with violations of liver and kidney functions or with blood dyscrasia.

- Do not use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.

PRESERVATION: Store at a cool place and keep out of direct sunlight.
